Keep it Clean, Keep it Green!

In the school we ran a campaign about awareness of keeping the school tidy, how to look after the grounds and where our rubbish should go... we learnt a choice phrase from New Zealand
"Keep it Clean, Keep it Green"
We discussed with the children what this saying means, in essence, if you look after nature and your environment it´ll stay natural and green (as it should be!)
The children all made posters and did an amazing job - they are decorated around the school halls.
Have a look at just some of them:

PEACE DAY 30 Jan 2013

Hello!
Well we are all back into it and ready to speak English for 2013!
On the 30 Jan was Peace Day and we spoke about peace in the classroom, what it means and words associated with Peace.
We wrote Peace accrostic poems, here are some from the wonderful students:

Peace is in all the world
Everyone respects each other
And there is no war
Countries are friends
Earth is kind, be kind to the earth

Peace
Everyone has hope
And friends
Caring and loving
Everyone is free

Peace is beautiful
Education is important
And so is love
Countries don´t have war
Everyone is free

Peace means no violence
Everyone is the same
And ther is no evil
Countries don´t have war
Everybody is free
